Unlock Your Potential. Build Your Future. The Nebraska Innovation Labs Foundation prepares individuals from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds for meaningful careers through paid, hands-on training and senior-led mentorship.
Access to technology careers often depends on prior experience, networks, or formal education — barriers that exclude many capable individuals. Nebraska Innovation Labs Foundation is committed to creating an accessible entry point into high-growth technical fields for those starting with little to no experience.
Our workforce development program is designed to build foundational technical skills, professional habits, and career readiness from the ground up. Participants receive structured instruction in core software development concepts, problem-solving, collaboration, and industry-standard tools. Alongside technical training, we emphasize workplace communication, accountability, and the practical competencies employers expect in today’s competitive job market.
By combining technical education with structured mentorship and guided skill-building, we prepare participants to confidently pursue internships, entry-level technical roles, apprenticeships, and continued advancement opportunities. Our focus is not just on learning to code — it is on developing job-ready professionals equipped with the skills, discipline, and confidence to succeed in modern technology environments.
Nebraska Innovation Labs Foundation exists to expand access to sustainable career pathways and strengthen the region’s technology workforce from the ground up.
